Problem:
My Laptop will not turn on.
Answer:
Verify if any lights are coming on and if the fan is spinning
when the power is pushed. A quick fix can be to unplug the
main power and take the battery out for 30 seconds, put it back
together and try to turn it on again. If there are no
lights or the battery trick does not work then bring it in ASAP
cause that means there is a bad piece of hardware.
Problem:
I do not get sound on my computer.
Answer:
First make sure that the sound is not muted on the computer.
Some keyboards have a mute key or look in the bottom right hand
corner of your screen and you should see a little speaker icon
, if the speaker has a
red circle like the image then your sound is most likely muted.
Either press the mute button or Volume Up button on your
keyboard or click the icon and select unmute.
If that does
not fix the problem then look at the back of the tower and
verify the speakers are plugged into the light GREEN port.
If none of these work then you should bring your computer in
cause your sound card could have malfuctioned.
